It's official.

My family is moving this summer to Spokane.

If all goes well, I'll be staying here and going to UW... but the only problems are a) money and b) timing. The money thing: I am going to have to fund my education myself. My dad is being all authoritarian about it ("If you don't go to BYU, I'm not paying a singel cent"), so I have to find scholarships and a job... the only problem is, people don't want to hire anyone under 18, and I turn 18 on April 30. Which brings me to...

Timing. My dad has to be in Spokane by July something-or-other. That will only give me a couple of months to work, and besides, the school year up at UW doesn't start until September 30. Maybe we can work something out where me and my mom stay here all summer, or something... I don't know. I guess we have some time to figure things out. Still, this is really cramping my style.

On the plus side, the parents will be farther away from me while I'm going to school. No helicopter parents, kthx. They still want me to go to BYU-Idaho, which is insanely close to Spokane. NOT COOL ON SO MANY LEVELS.

Ughhh. I need a plan.
